Which do I use for updates?

Hey guys. Just a quick question. I noticed that SD Central say that WB6.1 is available were as Stardock Impulse says WB6.09 (RCxx) is available. Both have the same release date. It's kind of confusing. Which one is the most acurate and/or should I use?

Either one will get you updated.
The versions may not match exactly (because they are published a bit differently) but they'll have the same files in them.

They can also BOTH be used at the same time (sometimes version numbers make that a bit confusing). I recomend Impulse and if you should have any trouble while the software is being updated try out Stardock Central. If you have any questions let us know.

Seabass, has the problem noted in this thread been addressed?

If not, you might want to avoid 6.10.079 in SDC for now and go with Impulse, Goose40  ;)

I will test the updates in the morning at the office to verify again. What version are you currently on and are you having the same trouble still?

No trouble here but I haven't tried to update ... still at 6.09g[b].137 ... after seeing the issues some are having with Explorer Backgrounds going missing after installing 6.10.079 from SDC

I updated through Impulse to 6.09h[rc].138 It works as it should.Ok to install that one pictoratus. Impulse hasn't failed me yet, it will remain my update source,regardless of version numbers.

Yeah, it's 6.10.079 from SDC that is suspect.
