Issues Need to be Updated

I don't think independents favor the Iraq War, and I think tax cuts is too broad of an issue. I would prefer Upper Class Tax Cuts and Middle Class Tax Cuts. I think debates are necessary. Bush is not favored on Terror by a margin of 97%, nor is Kerry favored on Jobs by 90%. I would love to see independent candidates. Great game anyway.

In game, independends have no stance on the War in Iraq- in other words, an importance value of 0. This may be unrealistic, but in game, independents neither support nor oppose the war in Iraq.

I have to agree to that. The best a canadate should start out with is 67%, because the other 33% tend to support their party blindly. Getting up to 90% should be possible, but would mean winning over members of the other party, and thus be very difficult to get that high.
