Two systems - None properly working (two different problems)

System #1: Windows Vista Home Premium. Spanish Version

Problem: apparently works fine, but whenever you are going to restore a file, you'll find out that the file is empty (zero byte long), regardless of its size and type.

System #2: Windows XP Home SP2. Spanish version. (SOLVED)

Problem:Here the contents of the files in preserved and recovered when instructed, but rules of inclusion and exclusion of types and folders are not regarded.

-Say I have declared that folder c:\tmp is to be excluded. It still Keeps saving modifications for file types included (eg.: txt)

-I have declared .Zip files not to be preserved. In spite of that, whenever one of them is created/modified in "My Documents" folder, it will be tracked.

Please note: Problem with System #2 apparently solved after reboot (maybe this is required whenever certain changes are made?)

Any hint, please? TIA.
