Input on startpanel please!

That looks pretty damn good to me! I have a question though, those cloudy/bubbly thingys in the red part, are they animated? That would be so cool.   

well.. sorry to disappoint you they are not animated.. but i have crossed my mind to animate the red sphere... anyhow as i said i don't know if i like it.. im thinking less is more maybe...

I'd have to agree with Xiandi completely.

Maybe it's the lack of any red on the top section, other than the orb that is, that is bothering you? :NOTSURE:

I think a design similar to the red bar on the left but smaller, turned 90 degrees CCW and placed under where it says Administrator, would look pretty cool maybe.

I like the sphere. If you think less is more, you could try reducing the width of the red bar on the left, make it a little thinner, maybe. Really though, it looks great as it is, but you are the one that has to be satisfied with it.   

.....personally i would take out the border under proggies and all programs, and also take off the border around logg off turn off pc ect....so they are all in one, they look too seperated for my liking......but just my opinion only! nothing horrible intended...love the orbs...and naturally, i luv the black and red combo....always a wikked combination.

I'm no expert but I've been looking at this for the better part of an hour and it has a very nice style to it. Maybe you could lower the border on the start panel left side to match the right side and then stretch the red bar on the side around the top and over to the orbs border. Then align the logoff and turn off computer border with the start panel right side so it looks even. I think these things will make it look more balanced. I love what you have of it so far

Well its reworked now and have most XP elements fit and ready, i thought id reuse this thread and ask if anyone is willing to help me test it out on vista in a day or so? as im thinking of making it vista compatible and dont have any vista installation on any of my 3 computers.. i just dont like it...yet.

Xiandi you will be happy to hear it now have a startpanel animation.. a pulsating flow in the red bar and now im happy with my new "less is more" panel as it fits better with the other parts of the blind

Anywho.. hit me back in this thread if anyone wanna help, ill check back tomorrow, now its of to bed.. im been up for 3days(even on my 4th now) on 1½ hours of sleep... and im not really that tired either.. very wierd... can u catch insomnia like a virus or something?!?.. well im of and gonna try to sleep anyway.
