Mouse/input problems.. on a UMPC

I just picked up a new machine, and I'm trying to use Gal Civ on it.  I finally got the game to run to the first menu..
I can click any of the items on the menu, and go to the next screen.. But then the game seems to refuse any input at all.

Ok. I'll start by saying that this new machine is entirely innapropriate for GalCiv.  I have a Samsung Q1 Ultra.  The screen size is a mere 1024x 600 (I set fullscreen = 0 to get it to even START)

If the problem is purely the fact that the game cannot handle the hardware, at all, and simply refuses to run fast the initial menu, I'll live with that (Though sadly).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The game is designed for 768px high at the minimum, so the UI is going to be all out of whack no matter what you do. That's liklely the cause of your problems, and it really can't be solved short of making a whole new low-res UI.

Actually that probably won't work either because the minimum resolution is 1024x768 and so even if the interface looks right, the mouse input will probably be wrong.

Yup. JUST figured that out. While everything displays fine, the inputs are WAY off. The graphics are nicely squished, but, alas, the mouse inputs are not.

I was really hoping I could play Gal Civ on this machine, as a nice portable game. :(
