Wrong Version ?

This is installing the proper 6.03 build. Stardock Central is just reporting the incorrect version number -- this is being fixed at the moment.

If you are interested in installing the latest release version, this is what you will want. However if you are interested in using the overall latest (currently pre-release) version -- 6.09h[rc], this should be available through Stardock Central now.

My Vista laptop shows 6.03 but my Vista desktop shows 6.10. My laptop was updated through SDC and my desktop was updated through Impulse. If that's any help.

I have the exact same scenario, on both my home desktop and my laptop (at work). Both updated through SDC (as I still cannot get Impulse to even open up and connect at work). As of 12:25 PM, SDC still shows version 6.10.078 as being installed, and no new/different version available - but WB shows the versions and dates of the files as above.

So, it appears that already we see the beginnings of SDC going away and not being updated... ? I sincerely hope that is not the case and this is merely an error, even though Mike claims the other version should be available through SDC now.

I'm showing 6.09g.(b).137 installed
and 6.03.76 non beta available 04/30/2008
and 6.09h(rc).138 04/30/2008

WindowBlinds shows version 6.1 (build 97 x86 - Vista Edition) - 64 bit OS installed
Impuls shows version 6.09j(rc).139 installed
Stardock Central shows version 6.09j(rc).139 installed and offers me to upgrade to version 6.10.079

I am a tiny little bit confused !!!!!!!

.... and me, i've got on May 1st a strange thing when i udpated from 6.09g.(b).137 to 6.10.018 ... after the reboot i was not able ro run WB   though i looked up in SDC and saw WB as "non installed" and proposing the 6.09h.(rc).138 build ... i re-updated, reboot and everything's was OK ... untill this morning ...   

I just update from 6.09h.(rc).138 to 6.10.079 dated May 3rd, which was able on SDC (i firstly download and archive in non automatic mode as i always do since i've got troubles with "auto-archive on updating" since i got a corrupted downloaded version ...) then when installing WB i got once more, the endless (for me) message telling me "excessive activations for WindowBlinds .... please contact support@stardock"

Though PLEASE can anyone from Wincustomize and / or Stardock reset my account ?

I think 2 weeks ago i had the same trouble with IconPackager and had since Friday to Monday to wait ... (for a product which might work 24/24 7/7 days   )

For WB i think i got same trouble just a few monthes ago (i surely did a post on forum for it if you want to see exactly the date)

Someone from Stardock told me that since the sig6.bin file is on computer the count down of activation is not made. I didn't uninstall WB since last reset of my activations (well if i well remember ...). Though what's going on ?? It's just impossible and i'm sure one is count when downloading and archiving, one is count when downloading on the update process and one is count on the installing process ... you multiply this by numbers of betas and or restored times for another beta (yep i did a lot linked to explorer backgrounds new function on my XP SP2...) and for sure the excessive activations is quickly achieved (BTW what is the exact number of activations allowed ?)

Phil as far as i know most or all WC staff have not the acess to reset an acount.. but I will pass your plight along to any SD staffer I run in to.

Has this been resolved yet? As of this moment (7 May 2008 09:09 EDT), SDC *still* shows the latest version of WB6 available (and installed on my PC) as ver 6.10.079, dated 05/03/2008. Yet the WBConfig (after a reboot) shows version 6.03, Build 45 x86; and all the dlls, etc. the most recent date on them is shown as 2008/03/31! Stardock support, *please* fix this already... we've been waiting for more than a week.

I think it is safe to say they are probably aware of it. I pointed it out to Seabass yesterday in a different thread.

That's confirmed; Both SDC and Impulse are showing 6.10.081 now

Same here,seppchen. WB6= v6.1 95x86 ;Impulse and SDC= v6.09[rc].138; I see 6.10.081 in SDC only,and Impulse just updated itself,shows no available updates of any kind. I'd rather use Impulse, is it supposed to be there?
