MyColors Suite Delivery System

Coded Graphics

I just noticed something about the new suite delivery system. The graphics are coded. Unless I am missing something, this means we can't use any of the graphics to make widgets and such. I do have Mustang working now, on both my XP PC, and Vista Laptop. But in the blinds folder, the graphics are coded. I was hoping to make a DX Theme, for personal use, of course. Unless I could get permission from Stardock Design to release it. But with coded graphics, I can't make it to begin with. Bummer!

Yea I know I tried to move a WB theme folder to another computer without downloading it on the other computer and everything was corrupted. Supposed to be a security feature. Which kinda sucks because I save every WB I download to another harddrive to use if something happens.

Yea, it's a bit of a bummer. I wish there was some other way but every time we released a suite, which took months of effort, it would show up on some customization site in one form or other or someone would rip it into a half-baked msstyles or whatever.  We're only doing this on the WindowBlinds skisn I'm pretty sure.

How does this work exactly? If the suites have to be redownloaded for a second computer, do they have to be redownloaded after a fresh OS-install as well?

Can they be 'archived' through Impulse, and does this archive work on one or more computers?

Would the cost of the additional server-load not counter-weight the gain from a few additionally sold suites?

/me is worried that making a compact start-menu for her old XP-box would not be possible anymore.
