How to cleanly remove all traces of Windows Blinds 6 (both in registry and filesystem) after uninstall and rebooting.

How to cleanly remove all traces of Windows Blinds 6 (both in registry and filesystem) after uninstall and rebooting.

I didnt have a Windows restore point set before installing WB6.  Although, I can run an uninstall of this program on my machine; I'm pretty anal about leaving traces of it in my registry and file system.

Could someone please tell easiest and most effective way to remove every single trace?

Thanks,
Michael

After uninstall and deleting folders C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds and C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Stardock\WindowBlinds run something like CCleaner, it is a good regitry cleaner and is free.

Eusing Free Registry Cleaner.Goes so deep into your registry, you'll have to come up for air! I only use it to root out orphans after an un-install, it finds everything. Not for the faint of heart.Use at your own risk.I've also gotten into the habit of creating a restore point daily and before any system change.Much easier than going through all this, you can always delete them later.

This is a little dated but I think it still works well.

I was hoping for something exactly like this utility (as long as it does clean perfectly... leaving NOTHING behind. So, this utility is safe to use with the latest SKS and WB under Vista?

I dont like the idea of using general registry cleaners; as then have a tendency to remove things that you need.
