Problems with Windows Explorer fonts and misc. HELP!

Hi, im new to this fourm, and while i was attempting to skin Windows Explorer in Vista with SKS6, i hit a snag. as you can see in the screenshot, the coulour of the font in theinformation panel at the bottem of the screen is black, i would like to turn it white. also, there are two items that i cannot figure out whether i can skin them, or where the option is to skin them; the header of the favourite links, and the dividing line of the favourite links. Also, i cannot find an option to change the font colour for the Folders bar underneath the favourite links bar. im not sure if this has been posted before, so please direct me to the right fourm if it has.

Thanks in advance.

oh man I whish I could help you more, cause I know how it is if you have a detailed question and think someone MUST KNOW SOMETHING about it but no reply (except of some well appreciated people here). On the other hand I think some questions here (and from me in other threads) actually can´t be solved atm (but stardock could give a shout too, well... at least what´s possible and what´s not)

ok complained enough. the only thing of your load of questions I know is:

favorite links: edit explorer../edit vista explorer.../favorite links background

what exactly do you mean by "...the dividing line of the favourite links"
Maybe you mean the vertical line between folders and links (on the right side). This can´t be skinned atm (to my information). see my thread (where you also replied).

All other things you mentioned I guess can´t be controlled atm. Hope I could help a bit...

Font such just make shure that you edit system defined colors and maybie that will do something? I HATE FONT COLORING! It is the worst part of skinning that I have found so far! It is enough to make you never want to do it again. But it soo fun skinning... Anyways I wish yo luck and Bump if you dont get replies! And Again GOOD LUCK!!!!

that divider you are talking about is in header bar section (list view header is the old name)(vertical line i think its called (im in xp at the moment.....so i can only go by memory) there are two of them in your skin folder...you can apply both, one goes down the window dividing it into sections on the page, the second, is that border.

that folder can be skinned, its name is explorer_folder_bar_vst, its found in the second IE tree node.(i THINK)
