computer doesnt start after patching

hi

i just installed the new patch. after that the install wants to restart the computer. i pressed ok.

since that my computer does not start anymore

does anyone have the same problem? solution?

screen stays black at all. normally i switch it on after about 2 sec theres a peep and booting screens comes up. now theres no peep and after about 7 sec. there is a longer strange peep and it seems to stop working and screen stays black all time

Sounds like your machine just failed then by coincidence. The actual meaning of the beeps varies by manufacturer, so you'll need to get ahold of them (or if you have a manual for the machine, it might say) to find out exactly what it means. Usually the beep code tells you exactly or points you very near what part failed.

Just offhand, I believe a long beep most generally represents a video or memory failure.
