Is there a trick to changing the file icon for PDF files?

I have an icon set that has the file PDF extension with an icon defined but for some reason I can't get that guy to change. Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a trick to it?

Thanks.

Correct. The file icon. I have the latest version of IP just got it today. Is it ok to delete the pdf icon defined in a downloaded package then add it back yourself? The package I am using already has the PDF file icon assigned but I was thinking by adding my own maybe I could force it.

Ok I got it to work by dong the above. Not sure why that particular one was stubborn but there you go. Now he is inline with the others. Ah, icon conformity ftw. ;)

what i do is a 'save package as' on the original (so I don't mess it up) and use the saved copy to make changes to. and then change out the one(s) I want changed, save

*nods* That is what I eneded up doing. Right after it changed. Now I can't get the URL extention to work so I will toy with that for a bit. :)

I really like this program. It and ObejectDock are easily my favorites. Only problem with IP is that I have become an icon whore.  :NOTSURE: I have only had the program for I would say about a week and I already have hundreds and hundreds of icons from drilling down through WCB. It's amazing how you get to the point where you want your icons to be just so. :D
