I have the same problem...I tested the computer with the trial version (before to buy it) and I have the same error..
No pirated version...

I have Winxp and Nvidia 8800 GT with the latest drivers...
is there any way to solve this problem I would like to buy it, but with this trouble I ´m not really sure....

Any help?

i know that with nvidia...sometimes it comes with accesories on the cd, mine came with some, and i had nothing but trouble until i 'uninstalled' the accessories.. after that everything worked great on my pc......strange but true. i have the same card as you 8800GT

if this is not your problem......is it possible to perhaps take a screenshot of the error you are recieveing? this might shed some light on the problem.......

could you tell me which accessories have you uninstalled?

the only problem is that when I try to apply one skin only appears the windows default like w2k...
nothing more..
is impossible to apply anything...

I guessed that would be the Malicious windows removal tool of M$ but I don´t have installed...so I don´t know what to do...

its the 'utilites' on the nvidia disk that comes with the hardware. (i said accessories instead..sorry about the wrong wording)

smart doctor is one, i cant think of the other, but there is only 2 of them.
