Im thinking of downloading RocketDock or ObjectDock!!!!     What i want to know is how much RAM does ObjectDock use up compared to Rocketdock???

also will the weather thing work for the UK??????

Depends on what you put on the dock. Never heard any reports one way or the other so it must be pretty close to the same.

I've used both. I like OD better (personal preference). Neither one uses much in the way of RAM....

Yeah neither use much in the way of ram.

I used to use Rocket Dock till I found Object Dock. I love object dock *personal pereference*.
As for the weather I believe it should work fine but I am not sure..


I say pick one and use it. I LOVE My docks now and am NEVER without em :D

I, too, have used both and favor OD.

I know the weather widget works in other parts of Europe (works for me in Spain) so I would figure it would work for you.

As I am a freebies maniac I didn't yet decided to upgrade to OD Plus in the meantime
I have:

ObjectDock on the left ...................................................................................RK Launcher on the right

..........................RocketDock (only for the minimized windows) on the bottom

BTW I use KlipFolio for the weather thing...
no problems with the RAM
only some problem with CPU when I'm running 3 or 4 animated icons all together before upload one ot them to the gallery !!
(CPU: animated icons running = 16% , animated icons running magnified =30%)

Interestingly enough , I go the other way .. and use Rocket Dock more then Object Dock ... I don't usually have a load of progs running ... so it serves it's purpose for quick launching my apps ...

Each to his or her own ... whatevers' good for you might be awful for someone else ...
