Still a bit overwhelmed...

Hello!  I just recently purchased OD, and I am itching to make a skin with SS6!  While I must say that SS6 is a great improvement in terms of ease of use over SS5 (congrats to all who worked on it!)), there is still room for improvement.  I don't know if it just hasn't come out yet or what, but comprehensive documentation would be much appreciated (any plans to update the wiki?). 

In the mean time, is there a template of some sort from which skirgins (=skinning + virgins, ©pmac7 2008 :P)  such as myself can get a feel for sizes, file types, etc.?  Or do I have to splash around existing skins to get a feel for it?

when you open sk6 you have the option of starting a new skin......the template comes with the new skin.........good luck ;) 

....if you have any skinning quesitons, dont hesitate to post them here, most folks here are pretty helpful and will be able to find you a solution.


if the template still sort of leaves you a little lost......just download a vista skin and disect it..
