after reboot windowfx "auto arranges" desktop icons...

when I reboot my computer windowfx automatically "auto arranges" my desktop icons.
the "Auto arrange" option on the contexmenu of desktop is deactivated, but it still happens when windowfx gets started!

can someone explain me how to fix this problem please? I would really appreciate it!!
thank you!

in WFX configuratin

what settings are you using under 'desktop icon'?

I believe that is still a 'feature' of WFX. Was brought up a long time ago & we were told by SD staff at the time that it would not be addressed.

I seem to recall something along those lines...

never paid that much attention... usually have desktop icons hidden - which keeps them out of the way for the 'minimize window to tile on desktop' effect

I use the "make my desktop icons 48x48 pixels..." feature, which makes it the only reason why I use windowFX :(

so there is no chance of getting this problem fixed? if thats true, does anyone probably know a program which allows me to use large desktop icons while all the other icons are not affected by it?

IconX
DesktopX (have hide the regular and create your own of any size)

Desktop Icon Toy (32, 48, 64 or 128) but it will also resize the icons on the start panel

iconX looks to be the program I searched for! :D

I have now another small problem. when an icon has a longer name, on the desktop it normaly will not show the whole name but a shorter version with some dots at the end.
but when you select the icon then you should see the whole name and this point it looks like it does not work with iconX.

when iconX is turned on you also do not see which of the symbols are shortcuts and which not, because the small "arrow" which marks a shortcut is missed :(

I have prepared two screenshots. first ist how it is right now with iconX turned on and second is how it should be.
