Transparent Windows are Pasty White

Problems with Color intensity

I am having a problem with WB as all of the windows that are supposed to be transparent are a ghost like white. I can change it by opening "pesonaliszation/windows Color and Appearance" and bringing down the color intensity but if I close explorer and open it again the "ghost film" is back.

WB 6.1 build 91 x86 on Vista

I am using the WB "Clear" and would love to use it instead of the Vista default.

Any one have the same problem and fixed it?

iambennuris what you might try doing is adjusting transparency and blur or explorer backgounds in WB configuration. If that doesn't work, it's possible that the download of the skin may have gotten corroupted. You might consider deleting the skin and redownloading it.  ;)

If other skins are also 'affected' post the WB system info

I find that it happens with a few skins the one I am currently using is "Clear". I love it. The same thing has been occuring on two different systems I use. I suspect it is to make the text readable. but "Clear" is not clear.

This is after adjusting the color intensity.

I loaded a darker WB "Sirus" and it does the same thing but is black so it is in the config of the window blind. Does anyone know where I can find the setting for the background color intensity of the skin in Skin Studio?

Then I could just modify it and save the changes. I have been wanting windows that were all glass for a long time.

thanks,

Thanks Darken,

I did find out why the color intensity of the background glass effect is changing when I open a new Explorer window. I had my explorer folders set to "open in a separate process in folder options. Once I changed it the reseting stoped even on restart. Now if I could just figure out how to modify the color intensity in SkinStudio, I will be good to go.
