Much thanks to The Monk!!!!

Just wanted to 'publicly' display my thanks to Monk for helping me and a gaming buddy of mine rectify a situation where my buddy couldn't get into my room for an MP game on ICO.

Monk provided us with a link to his guidebook as well as helpful in-chat technical advice. I don't think there wa anything wrong on my end regarding my router, NAT settings, security settings (made sure to leave Sins as allowed) but there was somethign wrong with my buddy's set-up which he later rectified and played his first ever Sins on-line game. Not only that but he won as well!

I'm glad that everything is working for you, and should I see you online and I actually have time to play  ;p I'd be happy if you would teach me a thing or two in-game (at the rate I'm playing this game I'm bound to remain a noob...hehe).  :D

It is rude to not read my entire guide and then complain that it's not working for you. Please go through my guide step-by-step, and if you then need clarification I will (as Admiral experienced and pointed out!) help you understand anything you are having difficulty with. Please don't ask me to take the time to help you understand what you haven't taken the time to read.

I had a feeling that despite your immense knowledge on how to get the game to work, technically-speaking, that you may not be as seasoned on the playing aspect of it.

I'm pretty-much a noob but have always been great at strategy games. I have one or two other personal friends that will probably play with in a week or so. First game will be a friendly one with us against some AI's. You are more than welcome to join.
