BSOD and Windows Blinds 0x0000008E

BSOD and Windows Blinds 0x0000008E

Hi

I've bought recenty a newest version of WindowBlinds. Since I've installed it on my computer I had started to receive a BSOD during Vista start. The actual BSOD appears a tiny moment before a Windows logon screen. BSOD lasts for 5-6 seconds, than system is restating and after that Vista is loading with no problems (exept a diagnostic massage which appear advising that the last problem was caused by windows itself). The BSOD returns with next Windows start. Unistalling Window Blinds is solving the problem. Anybody knows a solution for this? I need to use Window Blinds because this is quite nice application, I don't want to simply resign from it.

Anyway if I'll go to ADVANCE tab there is no Nvidia Tab. The only thing nvidia related is GeForce 8600M GT Tab wit nvidia logo
End of quote

what I called the nVidia tab - mine is GeForce4 MX440 with AGP8X

when I click the tab - I get a pop out

When I click on Desktop Management - I get an enable button (since it's disabled):

I hereby confirm that the BSOD's have actually gone. I don't know the reason and solution but three things happened and those things might had helped here:

1. Upon manually check for Windows updates my graphic card drivers were updated
2. I've refreshed my Windows Experience Index (this was proposed by someone31988). After that I could finally see the scores
3. I've re-installed WB through Stardock Central

I hope this will help to solve any similar problems in the future.

Thanks to everybody for their support.
