CursorXP freeze a black screen in starting...

Why this is occurring?

When I install Cursor XP and reboot the Windows XP (Sp2 32bit) I freeze after welcome screen.

The only shows in screen is black and nothing more.

Again and again up to I uninstall by secure mode.

 

My Computer:

CPU Model: AMD Athon 64x2 5600+

Video Card: ATi x1550 512Mb

Motherboard: Foxconn A690GM2MA-8KRS2H

Ram: 3Gb DDR2 800Mhz
All drivers are updated!!!

I allreadly used with other processors ans videocards and works everything fine.
The version is plus.
3.something(the newest)...

I not want CursorFX because not supports sound.
Someone knows a program to do sounds in cliks?

did you turn off all antivirus etc before installing?
are you installing in admin or limited user account?

standalone download or via SDC


if not using SDC, try this:
uninstall CXP
reboot
download then run this: https://www.stardock.com/files/odnt_zapper.exe to make sure all is cleaned
reboot
check: C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock - make sure the cursorxp cache folder is gone, if not - delete it

download, then install SDC - register your cxp serial, then use SDC to download/install
