Answer and Ask Game

I have a riddle which I want to ask but its better to start a game on riddles. Firstly one will ask an interesting riddle then all will try to answer. The one whose answer will be declared correct will be given chance to ask the riddle and so on. If no correct answer will be given for one or atmost two days then the one who asked riddle will give the answer and the one who gave the first reply to the riddle will be given the chance to ask the next riddle. If there is any condition of stalement(if the person given chance to ask the next riddle is absent for long then anyone can ask the riddle: no problem about it). These are no hard and fast rules, if someone has an interesting riddle then you can ask in between also but its better to firstly answer the one which is going on. So here goes the first riddle..... R1# "A man is very much addicted to smoking. On one of the dry day(some particular days when selling of cigerate is prohibited) he gets very keen of smoking. He finds 25 pieces of cigarete in his room which he left after smoking the cigarate. He can make one cigarate by joining 5 pieces. How many cigarates he can get with 25 pieces??"

A man went to a party and drank some of the punch. He then left early.

I can only assume that the poisoning was not the punch, but something else at the party, the man was not poisoned only because he had already left when it happened?

So.... maybe the man was there to fix a gas leak, but didn't do it properly becuase he had some of the punch, the gas leak is what poisoned everybody else?

Could be completely wrong of course, in which case there may be a glittering career for me in writing not-very-good tv murder mysteries? Watch out Angela Lansbury, here I come  ;)

Boy, this one has really had me thinking over the last few days...

This is all I can come up with:

The punch maybe had ice cubes in it, and the ice contained the poison. When the man drank the punch, the ice had not melted so he was ok, but later the ice had melted into the drink which is why everybody else died.

This one relies on a few pretty big assumptions on my part, like the ice was in the punch but the man did not take any ice with his drink, and also that the poisoned ice must have been VERY fresh to have not released anything into the drink (anyone who has ever tried adding things to an ice-tray to make ice cubes more "jazzy" will know where I'm coming from here...).

Still, I think its the only  shot I have at this one, so why not?  ;)

A man is visiting a town he has never been to before, and walks into a bar. The bar tender does not look up when the man walks in, but just pours the man a drink and walks away to the other end of the bar to serve another person. The stranger drinks the drink and says to the bar tender "Thanks, thats exactly what I wanted" and walks away happy, how did the bar tender know what drink to serve the stranger?
