What is the best map for a 2-4 AI

HI,

 

I have played maelstrom map seval times and have gotten annhilated fromt he 4 enemies.  I have tried backijng up my ally but no matter how i cut it I get crushed.  When I help him, my homewolrds fall and if I dont help him he falls.  I have been playing against normal AI and my parter is Hard AI.  20 Hours later and much lost sleep i still cant hold them back.

 

The problem si the chock points.  Just to hold my own territory I have to hold 3 choke points, not to mention my ally choke points.

 

 

ANy recomendations for a good map and or a good game that you can suggest that is ery challenging yet doable.  I want 1 Ai parter and preferably 4 enemies but I woudl love some suggestions.

Me and a friend of mine play 3 vs 3 vs unfair ai's on the standard large random maps(The one with 1 star and 41 planets)

Each game tends to take about 2 hours,and yeah...your gonna have to defend all your borders(there's usually 4-5 of them,which we split)

Wann include me, i dont have any friends who play this game. They are more of the point and shoot.

Umm,i'd have to talk to my friend about when we're going to play another game,we played 2 games yesterday,and the last game we got so bored(it was 4 vs 4,one of our guys got eliminated early on,lol, and we all got RA so it became a lag fest)

But i'm sure he won't mind,i'l message you if we decide something.
