Can't submit 6th game to Metaverse

'lo,

Got 5 games submitted, finished a Gigantic/Crippling v1.02 game. Submitted it but doesn't register. Upgraded to latest version, played game to finish again and submitted (now with 1500 pts instead of 4500 pts due to scoring changes), again it doesn't register.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?

Similar thing just happened to me. I patched up to 1.02, finished a small/challenging game with a cultural win/~300 pts. Submitted, but it is not listed. The first game I submitted is listed, but not as a win, although I won. I positively start to hate this metaverse feature.

It would be very nice if there was a log file or at least a dialog saying "Your score has now been registered" or giving an error code to help find what's wrong if it doesn't work. Exiting to main menu with zero feedback isn't all that helpful...

My 3rd game won't register today, either. Odd. Not that I really mind, but it was worth 5,462 points!

As long as you have a save game (or use the AutoSave before you start a new one) you can re-submit it when this problem is fixed.

Since a number of us who have submitted games before, can't anymore, it's quite obvious there is some sort of problem with the metaverse. It's really too bad they haven't put any logging in yet, as they'd have tons of feedback on the problem if they did.

There is something wrong with the Metaverse currently so let's be patient and wait for it to be fixed. It is not accepting my score and I've had zero problems with submission previously included the latest version.

Could be because of the web server maintenance.

Just keep your save games and resubmit once it is fixed.

Please Brad, we need some input about this, at least let us know WHY we can't register some games recently and what to do aside not cheating. :notsure:

I agree, I'd like some feedback on this, meaning if its even a problem or something I'm doing wrong and missed. I've finished three games now and been checking the forums for days now and I don't see where anyone is being really successful at submitting lately. Personally, I've never gotten a game to submit. I've registered my player name with the reg code her at the site and all that.

Two main threads on this issue that I see. This one and

The issue is a bit clouded because we've got lots of people chiming in that have never been able to submit a score at all. Other issues.

Still, there are obviously lots of us that are just recently not getting submissions to register with Metaverse.

Has anyone had a successful submission since around mid-day 5/5?
