how to open?

I have windows XP. I want to download a skin.('own' window blinds)But this box thing comes up and asks: what program do I want to use to open it" comes up.???? WHAT do I do??????   :SNIFF!: Help please.ASAP!

1 - link to page with download that comes up with that message to check link

2 - open wb config - system info - copy text - paste it here so's to check files ain't borked

Is WindowBlinds listed in the drop down list of download dialog, if yes select it and download and it will self install skin. You will then get a balloon dialog from system tray, click it to apply skin.

OK if you have Windowblinds it should automatically install the skin. If the box comes up again and you do actually have WB installed, look in the scrolling menu for "Windowblinds" and use it to open the file.

Hes asking to open Windowblinds configuration window and copy and paste the Information in the "System" tab, here.

ok. it used to have the balloon and download by itself. Last night I downloaded the trial of WB6. it TOTALLY froze my computer!!!! I just did a Restore on it a couple hours ago. Now that it's working again, i came back to download Smoothy again. but all the above keeps happening. I wonder if I should Un-install WB and re-install it???what do you think?

That might work. You might try defragmenting in between. It will allow for a cleaner install :)

The install was possibly borked then.. uninstall Windowblinds,  reboot , defrag, reinstall Windowblinds, reboot, defrag again than all hopefully will be good.
