Just wondering if they've heard of it.

Every single thing I've tried to do that involved Stardock required multiple attempts.  These guys could use a tester or two.

Welcome to the forums. A little advice...

First, don't flame Stardock. EVER. They don't deserve it, and the members of these forums won't tolerate it. Have you ever seen one of those old black and white monster movies, where the creature is chased out of town by the villagers with torches and pitchforks? If you continue to post in this tone, then you may as well put on a pair of cement boots and screw a couple of bolts to your neck.

I realize that you are frustrated, and I am truly sorry for that, but trust me; the Stardockians are a group of dedicated, hardworking professionals who collectively want to give you (the consumer) the best possible experience. This is just good business. We live in the digital age, and 'glitches' are bound to occur from time to time.

If you having a problem, ask for help. I suggest something along the lines of: "I'm new here, and can't get this or that to work. Can anybody help me?" You may be surprised at the number of responses you get. It is truly heartwarming at times the amount of effort spent by members for the benefit of total strangers.

Again, welcome. I hope you decide to stick around. This is a great game, and an even greater community.

And with the request for help, please post the debug.err info.
The file is located in the main game folder.
For Dread Lords it would be in C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2.
Dark Avatar and TA each have their own, in their own folder.

You can open the file with Notepad, then copy and paste everything into the reply.

Just complaining won't do any good. Give the facts so we can help.

I have to agree, i don't think they have one. They are very small after all.

The game is amazingly good for as small/light as the development team is.

Frogboy repeatedly says they only spent around a million on the game, and have made way way more than that. What I wonder is, how much better the game would have been if it had been properly tested/balanced. (say an extra 200k)

Perhaps that quality wouldn't have helped sales at all. But who knows, perhaps if it had been spent GC2 could have been a game for the ages. As it is now, after all this time, the game is still basically unstable. (DL, and DA)

By the time TA comes out, will anyone even care?

End of quote

I think most people just ignore your posts now mate. It has been some time since you have done anything but complain.

I'm not sure, but if Brad and Co had spent 5 million on GC2 and spent 2 years with the game in alpha and beta you would still not be satisfied.

Just my observation.

@ Dennis. Your post is rather lacking, you offer no information as to what is your problem. The folks at SD will bend over backwards to help you with your game, i know this from first hand experience.

If you post a detailed account of your troubles I'm sure you will be satisfied with the outcome.
