WB6 only applies 1/2 of my skin suddenly!

I have had window blinds installed on this computer for about half a year now, its WB6 the latest version as installed by stardock central. yesterday I started the comptuer up and my skin was half missing. I have the taskbar and start menu skinned, but the title bars for every window and scrollbars etc have reverted to the ugly windows classic style. I've seen this before, but reapplying the skin did not fix it. I uninstalled, and reinstalled WB6 and got the same result. I uninstalled, rebooted, disabled anti-virus, installed, rebooted and still have the same result, no matter what I do I can't get it to skin the titlebars anymore! this is not a new skin, its the one I've been running for over a month, it used to work great. I've tried other skins including WB6 built in ones and they all do the same thing, taskbar and start menu, but nothing else gets skinned. what should I do?

Open the WindowBlinds Configuration screen and click on "System info" and then "Copy text". Paste that info here.

What you describe really shouldn't be happening. Yeah, I know not a lot of help.

If you could go into WB config and copy your system info and post it here. Have you checked all the settings, did something get changed?

sorry! I was wondering how everyone else was displaying that information.
I thought I read somewhere about 6.2 being released, mine should be the latest version, I frequently check for updates. maybe I'm wrong.
also I'm using both DVI ports on the video card to run 2 20"LCD displays, but again I've been running multi-monitor for a long time with no issues. I also use UltraMon to manage the two displays, that used to warn you that it may not play nicely with WindowBlinds, but I never had any major issues with it, UltraMon says they have fixed the problem anyway.

thanks in advance for all the help!

Problem solved!

I held out so long before posting here about it also. for the benefit of anyone else in a similar situation:

this happened right after installing a new cpu cooler into my machine, I lost my bios settings in the process along with my system clock. I tried the already described steps to fix the problem to no avail. well I have my skin all back in tact now. it seems strange, but I think my system clock was to blame for some reason. I have a G15 gaming keyboard with a date and time LCD on it so I put off fixing the clock because it wasn't right there to fix easily. as soon as I corrected the date and time the very next window I brought up had my normal skin re-applied to it. I had to reboot one more time to fix all of it, now everything is good.

it could be a coincidence, or it could really have been the clock. in the windows XP world the system clock being off can cause all kinds of very strange things to go wrong. updates don't work, software goes haywire. its crazy. but anyway, I fixed that and the problem was solved instantly.

maybe if the date's off the different files don't work?

say if set date to 2007 would the files dated after that work?
