Are you all freaking sheep?

Massive bug overlooked in 1.03

why, why, WHY is NOBODY on these damn forums talking about multiplayer placement! It is the #1 PROBLEM with multiplayer right now and was NOT I repeat NOT fixed in 1.03! The placement is totally RANDOM regardless of the map you play on and settings you choose. Allies DO NOT necessarily start next to each other. For example in a 2v2v2 game one team might start right next to each other and the other two spread out across the solar system!

This is such an easy freaking fix I am completely boggled that developers who could make such a great game could overlook such a huge bug for so long! I am even more amazed by the retards in this forum who aren't voicing the issue to the developers! Are you freaking douches just playing singleplayer or 1v1s? Or are you just that god damn daft. I think the latter is most likely the case. This fantastic game is UNPLAYABLE in games larger than 2v2 because of this vast inequality in ally placements. Sometimes your team might be spread out randomly between multiple star systems and the other team all together in one solar system!

STOP ACTING LIKE SHEEP AND GET THE DEVS TO FIX THIS.

I didn't read most of these posts, but I can tell you that there are maps which spawn teams on the same sides and maps that don't. Backdoor has always spawned me next to my team mate when I've played it, Razors Edge has always put the 3 of us on one side and the other 3 on another. As far as I can tell there are set planets at which you can start at, you don't get an astroid as a home world. If you do a map like Razors Edge with a 2v2v2, then yes. Since it is generally a 3v3 map, then 2 teams will likely be on opposite sides of the map.

I think Forign Nations was designed to always spawn one guy on the enemy side of the map, thats just how it is. Then again, I've only played it 3v3, not 2v2v2. I assume though that with only six possible starting planets, it would still put two people far apart. Fulcrum always seems to put teams on their own sides though.

Don´t have time to test out all maps atm but figured I would check foreign invasion then, and it doesn´t have fixed starting locations in 2v2v2 at least
End of quote

Every 3v3 game I've ever played on it the teams have been close together.

I don't know about 2v2v2. I never play with teams like that.

Wow. If you have a problem with it, why don't you stop acting like a pussy and talk to the devs yourself. Or are you just such a sissy that you want other people to do your dirty work for you? If you have a problem just email the devs don't whine about it on the forums. It's none of these peoples' fault that nothing was done. Maybe nobody really noticed or cared about this. Maybe your the only bitch on these forums. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings but thats the way it is. If you don't learn to do things yourself instead of trying to get other people to do it for you you won't get anywhere in life.

Yeah ok I only ever play 2v2v2 or 2v2v2v2, I have no trouble believing those maps only work well for 3v3's due to their very nature, but the map description does list 2v2v2 as 'recommended'

(tried twin empires 4v4 but it often puts 1 player amongst 3 enemies, I would not like to be in his shoes ^^)
