have now installed 64 bit vista, more stable and robust. however when i freshly downloaded deskscapes it worked fine, but the animation has stopped, anyone out there can help.

What version of windows? If it's Business, it does not come with Mpeg 2 support and it will not run that dream with out a 3rd party codec installed. If this is the case the following thread has a link to a working codec...WWW Link
All of the dreams I create are Mpeg 2 and the dream you mentioned is mine.

Breathless19 went through this and he refers to one in post #23 in that thread. I have yet to try it so make sure you create a restore point before installing just in case.
I believe your version comes with a 32 bit codec and a 64 bit is requiered for it to work.
Make sure to come back and post your results.

I believe he installed "K-Lite Codec Pack 64-bit Add-on" from this site. WWW Link

Make sure to create a restore point with system restore before installing so you can easily restore your system back, just in case. I would also update your video card drivers with the newest ones avaliable.
