Bought Sins as an impulse purchase

Usually when I by something on impulse having not read reviews I get burned.  And for the first 3 games I tried playing, to learn the game, I felt that I may have been burned again.  Then it clicked, I figured out what I was doing.

I must say this game is a LOT of fun.  Sure there are about a million things I would like to see improved but the bottom line is that I'm having a very good time playing, and it's pulling me away from my WoW addiction.

The game as it stands was well worth my $40, but what really impresses me is that this game could be taken from a 4.5/5 star game to a 6/5 star game with minor additions and tweaks.  Ironclad and Stardock seem commited to supporting this game for a long time, so I feel we may hit that 6/5 stars in the future.

Cheers everyone,

Travitar

This bodes poorly for you then. I can just see you in the future after another impulse buy...

C'mon you have to be as good as Sins, you just have to. I know computer games can be innovative and done well. People are tired of the same rehashed junk, and developers really do listen! I bought you on a whim, and your packaging looked good, so you have to be good!

Optimism crushed.

I downloaded this Sunday and am looking forward to some good times.

I have been familar (through not real active) with the Gal Civ series and enjoyed them, this looks very promising.

It looks to be as is has been said - easy to play but very hard to master!
