"You are already logged in"

I logged out of IronClad an hour ago...I go to log back in and it says I am already logged in. My friend says I am still in the Lobby I can't join - this is some really great service. Whats going on?

When I go to my friends list, which he is on (obviously) it says he is Online and in the Lobby, yet when I scroll through who is actually in the lobby, he is not on the list.

I've tried logging on his account from my machine and I have the same message, so it doesn't seem client side.

Is he maybe logged into the stardock website? Don't know if that would cause a problem, but might be something to try. :)

I just meant being logged into SDC might be causing an issue? Was worth a try.

btw. double-posting is usually frowned upon in every forum, and doesn't garner positive results.

You and your friend aren't by chance trying to use the same copy of the game? You are allowed two instances of the game for LAN-play, however not for ICO. Just a thought.

We are posting on two separate accounts, pretty sure that means we have two separate games. We both bought ours from the website.

We aren't trying to be "jerks" and garner "negative replies", but when we get replies that imply we are nothing short of 11 year old dimwitted technologically ignorant vegetables, you sit there getting aggravated.

All we know:

He logged out normally.
Tried to come back, and gives him the error "You are already logged in". I tried on my SEPARATE computer and it was the same deal.

It has nothing to do with the OP question, but makes me wonder.,, The retail version of the game (not the electronic purchase) doesn't really ask for serial until you try and join ICO. If it doesn't ask for serial how does it know that you have more than 2 copy of the same game in LAN?

There is an identical thread already in progress. Locking this one.

Edit: oops I locked the wrong one. My bad.

Please send your username, cdkey, and IP to support@ironcladgames.com along with a description of the problem and we'll check it out.

It was a simple question, as I'm sure since many people have "heard" they can use two instances of the game it may stand to reason that some might be trying it with ICO when in fact it is intended only for LAN-play.

The OP contains the statement " - this is some really great service" , and that is after the same thing being posted twice (double-posting). I wasn't insinuating that anyone was a "dimwitted technological ignorant vegetable", I was pointing out that double-posting is usually "frowned" upon that's all.

and all I know: I was asking questions in order to give better suggestions.
