Can't Uninstall Beta to Download Release version - HELP!

I participated in the Beta, but have been very busy at work so am just now getting a chance to sit down and get back into this game. When I try to update through Stardock, it gives me this message:
"Thank you for participating in the Sins of a Solar Empire beta.
To upgrade to the release version, please uninstall the existing beta first."
My question is: HOW do I uninstall the beta? The programs menu only has a shortcut to the executable, and the game doesn't appear in Add/Remove Programs. Stardock won't let me download the real game until I figure out how to get the beta off my PC. Please help!
