Can't find the user.setting/hosting problems

I have been trying to find the user.setting file but I can't find it. I went to C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire but all that is in there is a folder called license. I can't host a game so I was trying to see if the default port is 6112, but I could find the file. I have forwarded to port 6112-6112, 6001-6112, and other things. I haven't done anything with the UPnP thing, but I have my firewall off, ect. I am using the Westell 327W. I spent awhile on the phone with a bellsouth help guy and we couldn't get it to work. I don't have any other router attached other than my Westell 327W, but I am on a home network. Can anyone help me with this?

On your router, what options does it have under Home Network - NAT/Gaming?

@Aegeta

If (as seems to be the case) your "westell" is also a router and not just a cable/dsl modem you need to make sure of the following:

two ports are forwarded to the correct internal IP

TCP 6112

TCP 6000

You need to disable any "SPI" or other firewall on the Westell as it will only serve to "fragment" game-data packets.

You need to make sure you have the SINS "exception" in the Windows Firewall, and ALL other security software turned off/excepted correctly.

BTW.....the default port for the game is TCP 6112, so if you didn't change anything in the settings file (which seems unlikely since you can't find it. :) ) then don't bother looking for it.

Thank you very much Monk that fixed it. I wasn't doing a port forward to TCP 6000.
