Unable to update GalCiv2 ToTA latest build

Hi - I tried to update ToTA with version 0.96a[b]006 and it keeps telling me that installation failed - after a 9 second countdown.

I've refreshed XML data and followed all procedures that I know about - can you guys help?

There is a known ongoing issue with the TA downloads. We're trying to get ti working as soon as we can.

just fyi

a couple days ago a was unable to complete the update and it would wait three seconds a few times then tell me it failed.

now it says the update completed but it happens very quickly and the SDC/TGnet still shows the old version as installed and the button is still there to update to the new version, and trying again just reproduces the same thing.

just in case you were wondering what a remote user was experiencing.

also, fyi, SDC is no longer downloading any new 'discussion' (forum) messages. since the update last weekend so this has been all week long so far. thankfully can still access the forums thru the SDC (or I imagine any other) web browser tho.
