a highly pleasing game, not only the game itself, but also the fact that RaY were a part of what i believe is the first release clan vs clan battle.

the game was played in the right manner, and i thank members of both clans for showing up, and playing the game in a good, competitive spirit.

it was a hard game for us to play, as none of our members had ever played a 4v4 before, but we tried our best. the difference in long-term strategies was obvious as the game began to turn into GE's favour.
we tried to push them back again, however a badly timed pirate raid on Therlun meant he had to send all his units the 5 phase jumps back to his land (we planned to win all the pirate raids on such a close map).
our expansion is much practised, however we may have gained a false sense of security from playing in too many "noob teamers" and at the point of reload, i really felt like we were on top of the game, however some good long term planning and clever tactical moves helped GE overthrow us.

all in all it was a great learning experience (for both sets of players and replay-watchers) and we hope to play GE clan, and other clans in the very near future

i would also like to thank the members of GE for being pateint during the game problems i was having, and for agreeing to reload. i am also glad that reloading seems to solve lag issues, and we should remember that for the future

Clan eZ vs Clan LOS

We were going with a DA rush, and my partner has played maybe 2 online games of Sins

I get rushed hardcore by mothership + disciples, I had 4 imperial labs in preparation of the DA. So, I give up my terran planet, and immediately decomission my labs. I replace them with 1 military lab, and start assailant research. The fight goes to my home planet, where I rout them with my superior micro.

The game is 1-sided from there, with a 1v2 taking place on my side, and my tec ally spamming trade ports and feeding excess resources. Watch how many cap ships I down. I ignore casualties when cap ships are gone (because, well, he's getting 0 experience).

1 3v3, some fixed 3v3 map (there are no random 3v3 maps), I have no idea what it is, but it was weird as hell. RA is still good!

In the 2v2 and 3v3 u played with someone you who isnt even in ur clan.
Those were simply fun games (=> yes some of us test stuff in those and dont play their "standard") like we have them all the time and i dont know why they should be posted here or else i'd have to post here daily.
If u want a real clanmatch then tell us before so we know it will get posted here.

This thread should be "implemented" into game... Right there into hart of IC Online...

Little button that says "ranked / unranked" should be there too so friendly and official wars can be played without much of forum BS...

I suggest turning this thread into patch / expansion suggestion...

I know about your plans and i fully support them - however - my feeling is that something "official" needs to be done about this...

Sins (as a game) and ICO has tremendous potential thats currently way too underused or under-developed...

I mean we have - official forum section dealing with clans and unofficial thread(s) trying to patch some CW results together - meaning there is genuine care and interest for something like this coming from both ends... Developers / Publishers as well as community one...

Since this is fact - why not "patch" and evolve ICO to officially support CWs via "ranked / unranked" switch and simple ladder based on "win / loss" ratio...

Sure there is number of potential issues and problems glued to this - but hey... Better try and do something to evolve your online community than do nothing and hope for the best...

RaY no longer plays Sins as a clan. The tag is cosmetic, and Astax and I have played a lot of games together. Good to know that you think the TAG is more important than the reality.

I hear some scrub talking as if he was good/knew what he was talking about/anyone cared. Too bad.
