Planet Names

I just started a new game in a large galaxy. Got a couple of planets colonized and am in the process to expand further. I think you all know when exploring the galaxy you run into planet names that are "somewhat" related to the names of the devs ( I invaded "Wardell" already in several games ;) ). Funny thing is I just discovered a new planet in my new game, and guess what? It's name is FREYA, yes that's ME :) Funny guys, the devs :CONGRAT:

Most of them are, but these kinds of things prove they have a great time and fun themselves with the game ;)

Some of them are. A number of others are literary or mythological references (some of which really don't make sense. Gaia is another name for Earth.... Why is it on one of those starts over there? o.o )

There was a planet Gaia in Isaac Asimov's Foundation series. It might be a reference to that, rather then the real meaning. Or else they just really liked the name. :)

If you look, I think you can find pretty much all the devs names there, as minor races I believe, as well as star systems. The Scottilingas, the Wardell, the Carinoids (CariElf), etc. LOL

Their names shall live on in infamy.. :p

It refers to the goddess of Love ;)

You'll notice lots of names from mythology and literature in the star names, and you can safely edit that file to replace/add your own.

It also means a living planet. I found that one, too. It might be different for you, but the planet was rated 30 on my game. ;)
