Alliance Problems

In my current game I’ve allied with both the Yor and the I-League. The Yor have declared war on the I-League and for some reason my senate insists that we side with the I-League despite the fact that 90% of my trade comes from the Yor. I have tried again and again to break my alliance with the I-League but come the next turn they are still my ally. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a known fix? I tried to search the forums but we all know that’s a difficult proposition. :(

There's no way to break an alliance with the minor races right now.

If you are considerably stronger than the I-league and are in control of you senate, then attack the I-league. Then offer them peace.
