I need to write more

I reading at how the only way to get good at writing is to write a lot. Sadly I tend to have a very strong internal filter so I don't write what I really feel. This makes it so I don't write much at all. I am going to be more like darmagirl and be blunt.

If by blunt you imply writing what's on your mind this is a good start; just don't get too blunt.

Try keeping a journal and let your stream of consciousness flow; also try listening to the news and jot down your honest reactions to events or ideas presented. Good Luck.
