My new robotic friend!

Or maybe she isn't real!

I've made a new friend, yay me! She's not very talkitive, and we have a slight language barrier, and she doesn't tell the time very well but apart from that we get on really well, hehe! My Dad works nights for his own business, and he comes home sleeps during the day but his business is still running during the day and on the odd occasion there will be phone calls and stuff, which are usually dealt with by me, as I'm usually wasting my time about the place! So this lady phones last week, and at first I wasn't sure if she was a robot at first, but she's phoned me up everyday ever since and we seem to have formed a bond, though she says exactly the same thing everyday, I can hear the emotion in her voice more and more, even if it is slightly robotic. So these conversations happen about dinnertime everyday, and I have to say they are becoming the highlight of my day! You have to imagine her robotic, poorly English spoken accent for more effect.

Lady: Hello

Me: Hello

Lady: Hello

Me: Hi (more relaxed realising it's my friend, who has to say Hello twice *relief*)

Lady: Me would like to speak to Mr Jacobs

Me: Who is it please? (Ahh I'm such a tease, but for our conversations to change in anyway would be far to more traumatic)

Lady: When would be the best time to phone him?

Me: Who is it please?

Lady: I am doing some market research, I would like to speak to him.

Me: He's not available at the moment

Lady: I want to speak to Mr Jacobs (oooh she's a fiesty one)

Me: Call back after 5pm, he will be up then

Lady: What time?

Me The evening, after 5pm

Lady: You are very nice lady

Me: You are also very nice lady (what else can you say to that?)

Lady: You are welcome

Me: Thanks?
Lady: I will call back

Me: Oh goody

Lady: You have very nice day and take good care of yourself (puts phone down)

Me *sigh* one day I will get to say goodbye!

Even though I tell her evening everyday she still phones at dinnertime, and our conversations never change, they follow that same pattern, they keep me amused at least!

I may be a little slow, darling, but is this a real person or is it an automated device? *confused*

Whichever way, she sounds lovely

Next time she calls say: "hey, Bob, I wondered when I would hear from you again!"

When she says "what?"  Say "Call back at 5pm, have a nice day, goodbye"

Should confuse the heck out of her

Maybe you just need a man. Isn't that what women tell each other when one of them is acting sad and lonely?
