Cheat Codes

I was playing a game last night, and, while having owned GalCiv for more than two years or so, I JUST THEN saw the button ENABLE CHEAT KEYS.

But how do they work?

I mean, do I enable cheat keys then type in 'MONEY PLEASE' and I get some bonuses?

IFORM THE BATTLEFURBY, please.

First of all: the enable cheat keys disables scoring.
