In XP, it is a "hidden" folder located here :

C:\Documents and Settings\[your XP user name]\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games

The "Local Settings" and "Application Data" folders are hidden :

a) either you activate the overt manifestation of the hidden folders in the Tools\Folder Options of any XP window (at the top-right)

b) or you insert the path I have indicated (above) in the XP window's address bar (if you have activated that bar in your window options).

Ok now that we're done with the "is your computer plugged in" useless suggestion, does anyone have any real ideas? Of course I know about hidden folders. Duh. Also, you've got the path wrong. There's no "local settings" directory. The path is supposed to be

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\

He's right. There should be a 'Local Settings' folder, in which there is ANOTHER 'Application Data' Folder. It's confusing, because some games put it in one, and some in the other.

Ok, point taken about the path, and sorry that I was a little bitchy earlier. However, there are no files in that directory (a fact that coincides with my earlier search results). I've run the game a few times, so if it was a situation where the game created the files when it was run that should have taken care of that. I'm going to reinstall.
