Minimum specs are 1.8 ghz processor, 512 RAM (1 gig if Vista) and Radeon 9600 or better

but could it play because i was really hoping i could still play without buying a new $200-$400 processor

I'd recommend waiting until Ironclad releases the demo and see if it runs if upgrading isn't an option, and I'm more concerned about your video card than your processor.

Heh, I've pulled off even lower specs than the minimum. I had, like, 380 something RAM and one of those Radeon 7250 graphics cards, and a.. not sure what the speed of the processor was, but it was a Pentium 4. It was amazing.. I put everything on Low just to be sure. But it surprised me. Now I can play on my crappy computer, and not have to wait to go onto my gaming computer on the weekends!
