Is the collectors edition sold out?

Today I finally made the decision to buy Sins, after looking at the purchase page for the last week or so. However, I noticed that I can no longer choose the collector's edition?
Is it gone? sold out? just not visible? If possible, I'd like to get the collector's edition over the normal game, but if it's gone I'll have to settle for the normal version.

There is no information about the collector's edition anywhere I could think of. Website, forum, store...nada. So if possible I'd like to be informed about the status of the collector's edition.

The Collector's Edition is the only one available for purchase online.

I did that, but then the link takes me to the stardock store, where it says
'Sins of a Solar Empire (retail DVD)'

I assume retail means it's the normal version?
Unless both the normal and collector's version are called retail?

I'm confused.

We'll post an announcement when we do run low. Until then you can assume that all box orders from us are Collector's Editions.

I'll me making my order momentarily then, though I hope you'll forgive me if I remain a little nervous until I actually get the box in my hands :)
