Why wont the ai's attack me?

I'm at 1 hour 21 minute. Random medium map and I have 4 AI'S team up together against me and they have not attacked me! I wanted to turtle in and just wait for them to see a huge battle-fest but what the hell......they haven't done squat. Only the pirates attack me. I put everything on hard-economy. Could that be the issue???? I tried hard-attacker but all they do is launched cheap frigates. What gives.

Hehehe yeah hard attacker is infamous for the stupid one frigate raids, if he used 5 frigates he might do something :) I think Econ does pretty good in attacking. I'm not sure why they havent attacked you, the ai attacks me all the time, thou not very successfully.

Now this is funny. Just last night I started a thread wondering if the AI ever attacked each other since it seemed they all did nothing but attack me!
