Sova Carrier's Bug?

Hi everyone!.

I've build my Sova Carrier recently. As I was progressing, I noticed that there is not incentive by increasing the missile battery ability as the subsequent increase does not show any improvement, either to the cost of antimatter or the cool down period. Is that a bug? I've got 3 points in the missile battery but I've yet to see any difference. I guess I've wasted 3 valuable points.

btw I'm on the 1.02 patch.

Other than clicking on the missile platform and seeing the changed stats? ;)

I thought the same thing as the OP when I got my first Sova carrier. I was wondering what the incentive was to put points into the missile batter since the description shows no change when you go to increase the skill level.


It would be nice if the 'next level' description showed the increased stats in the missile battery because I'm sure that a lot more people are wondering why they should put more points into that skill :P

True but at least put some changes like other upgrades. Dont need to be concise, a little info will remove the confusion.

Darn, when I came into this thread I thought it was about the Sova's ultimate ability. I've never seen much use in that trick.

The Sova's Ultimate ability (the one to basically build all the fighters/bombers in a few seconds) is great for big battles when all the Sova's strikecraft are destroyed. pop this ability and you've just launched 6+ squads. IMO one of my favorate abilitys, the Akkan Ultimate ability is my favorate for those times when running away is your best option.

Alas, doesn't quite work that way -- it still takes a while for squads to repopulate because while the individuals are built instantly, they still A) cost antimatter (which takes time to regen) and B) there's a delay between craft construction while in combat.

Put this on the infocard: "Improves Platform". Otherwise it looks like a bug.
