How to move between Star Systems in a multi-star map?

OK, I finished a gamne with one solar system - that was obvious how to move between planets. NOw I have a 5 star map, and have completely explored the system I started in, but how do I move to the other stars?? I thought it might be Worm Hole tech, so I researched that, but if that's it, I still don't see it.

Sorry if it's a n00b question that I just missed somewhere.

There's a tech along the lines of "Long Range Jump." Once you get that, simply order your ships to another star system.
