Favorite Race?

Im curios as to what everyone's favorite race is?

Currently im playing Advent alot...not really because i like them i just like the sweet vis effects of their weapons and the fact the i played the TEC and Vasari to death..been in the game since Beta 2...But id have to say i like the Vasari most with the TEC a close second. The vasari planet bombardment just looks and sound completely EVIL.

Probably TEC. Kol Battleships just rule, like the mean sound they have. Cant say it's absolutely the number one faction but close to it.

I like TEC the most. The Kol Battleship is awesome. Vasari second. The Advent look neat and come in third close to second.

i play TEC exclusively. in every strategy game i pick a faction and try to master it. i saw a video of the vasari and the voice annoyed me so i picked TEC. if the advent had been out when i started playing i would have used them but its too late no going back now.

I tend to dig humans in any sci-fi type setting. I own probably about $5k in Space Marines and Imperial Guard and haven't played a game with em. Prefer Assult Rifle to laser rifle in FPSs, rather play Rainbow 6 then Halo. As such, I am sticking with TEC. Good or Bad.

Vasari by far. For every reason:

- Generally coolest looking ships and best sounding voices. Advent and TEC have one or two ships/voices which stand out, but also each has way more bad ones than Vasari.
- Once I expand over more than 5 or 6 planets it becomes impossible to get a fleet anywhere in a timely manner with TEC or Advent. Phase gates are simply an essential for the kind of pacing I require, it makes the other races seem to move so slow.
- Economically the Vasari seem to have more consolidated mineral/crystal upgrade techs, a huge cash staple for me.

Those are my main reasons. I have tried the others, but the TEC do not seem to have as large an economic advantage as I was anticipating (to compensate for their slow fleet movement), and the Advent not only move slow but also kill extremely slow, half their ships being pure support. Sure they don't die, but it takes forever to get anything done.
