''Disconnected From Game Server''

I keep on getting this error when i try to join a game, my mate is hosting it ive unblocked the port 6112 for UDP/TCP and im still unable to join.

Any help?

Has he forwarded 6112 TCP as well? It's the host that matters.

yeah hes now done that, i managed to get a game hosted and that works fine, although every so often he would get disconnected. Now hes unblocked the port so just gonna see if we can have a longer game without disconnections.

I get this exact same message. I'm unable to join any games. Everyone else can join that particular game, I however cannot.

Because this game is "peer-to-peer" and not "client-server" both the HOST AND CLIENT have to correctly "forward" ports/traffic to their respective PC's.
