Problems with Sins purchase/activation

Hi,

So a friend of mine and me both purchased Sins online. Since it was cheaper to have one person place the order (two copies of the game) due to shipping and handling, we did just that.

When my friend got the email with the activation code however, there was only one activation code in it! I tried the code at my end, but it wouldn't let me register the game, because my account is tied to a different email address. He has tried registering as well, but he told me he didn't need to register at any point.

I'd like to get this sorted. How is it that we only received one activation code? Is this normal?

My friend sent an email to support but he hasn't received an answer yet. Is anyone familiar with a similar situation?

Ok I got an email with the serial. When I enter it and press lookup serial it says it's invalid though...

You have entered the stardock.net account information that serial is associated with right? You may have to enter your friend's e-mail address and then use that serial for it to work. Not totally sure since you have a strange situation.

Yeah, you'll need to use your friend's email address if that's what it was bought under.
