Pictures not showing up

from Sins Forums
I've tried taking pictures ingame; telling me that they're saved to C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\pictures
and as a .bmp; but I have yet to see any files in it.

I've tried exiting Sins already.

I am using windows xp; no firewall present.

You will find them in the path below. Replace username with the name of your windows user account.


Vista:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\ScreenShot

XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\ScreenShot

Please note these directories may be Hidden by default. To unhide them, go to your Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View and set yourself to view hidden files and folders.

I made a separate thread as I didn't notice this one, but I'm having the same issue. I know where the directory should be, and it seems to be incrementing the file names as though there were other screenshots, but after a file search the pictures were definitely not anywhere on the system. This was an issue in Hellgate apparently as well, but was only present in Vista systems on the DX10 client. However, I'm running XP and the game is DX9, so I would imagine it should be a different problem.

Even with the folder manually created, it still isn't capturing screenshots, it just displays the message and increments as if the files actually existed.

I have XP SP2 and I couldn't find the screenshots I took using your path. Mine were in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\ScreenShot

Lol forgive me for not following the path they gave me in the game, crap put it in my documents please.
Hope that helps, I couldn't search before because I didn't know what the file's names were.
