What is going on????

I'm under the impression that the CursorFX is supposed to effectively replace CursorXP, however, there is no exec. files to load! I have to transfer each file individually to C:\Documents and Settings\All User\Documents\Stardock\CursorFX\Themes... Wooff! What ever happened to the CursorXP format of click, install, open and view!

Also the feature with the shadow adjustment slidebar sure doesn't seem to work well either! I may be wrong... but there are a few bugs!!!

I downloaded a CXP cursor from WC.  EdgeCut by TOMPcpl
I saved it to my desktop
I double-clicked on it.
I got the followin window
I clicked yes
And there's my new cursor.

Maybe I have leftover beta code . . I dunno.

I'm sorry, but I never got any notification of install at all!

I should note that I'm using the Plus.

I'm not seeing that either. I'm using the public version on XP SP2.

When I double click I hear the hard disk churn and nothing................no packages show in the list. I've tried six different packages on 2 different computers.

I've had to create a shortcut to the hidden files just in order to get it to work!
seems like a lot just to get the cursor to work! These files are not exec's. just basic
information for install!

I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no success! The only other reason's I can think of are, are we being told to initially uninstall XP before XF totally, does the problem lie with the overlapping between the two? Also you need... the initial install exec. program saved somewhere so that you can either reinstall, repair and uninstall! Which takes up space unnecessarily usually, they had a seperate uninstall with XP accessable through Add and Remove in Home WinXP SP2. Also on the uninstall it does not destroy the hidden files kept in C:\Documents and Settings\All User\Documents\
Stardock\CursorFX\Themes, it just stays there along with quite a few other useless left over files in the registry! You even need a good registry cleaner to get to them! There's some type of glitch that's preventing the install of the cursor's I just wonder if it was caused by not uninstalling XP before FX or installing them side by side??? Tell me if I'm right or wrong. please?

I thought I might also say that I am using an upgrade that I downloaded this morning over the internet! I noticed that the Old File for Cursor XP was still resident on the hard drive with all appropriate files and cannot be deleted because of my using the Cursor XP.exe in conjunction with XF. As far as the cursor themes go, I downloaded the latest five new one's posted and one old one that would not install until I converted it! "TheoneRing", however, the other issue with the shadow adjustment and move still exists! If I can help otherwise, please tell me! Thanks!

I deleted my last post.  After speaking with my supervisor (again) he suggested uninstalling/reboot/installing CursorFX.

Thanks for listing your themes.  Anyone else with issues, please list the themes you're using (that's causing issues) also.

Also, are you running XP or Vista?

I'm running Win XP(SP2) [Home Version]. Please advise your supv. that as he suggested I did the uninstalling/reboot/installing of both CursorFX and XP to no avail! After looking through the Forum Post's, I've noticed a pressing trend that needs to be addressed! There definately is a conflict between the two (XP vs. XF) Ergo therefore, it's more a probability than a possibility!

Thank you again for your reply!
