how to start Outlook in Calendar view from the Calendar docklet?

hello.

I would like outlook to start on the Calendar view when I click on the Calendar Docklet.

To do so, I put the following line on the "Program to run..." field:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe" /select outlook:calendar

(with or without comma, it doesn't change anything).

It doesn't work, nothing happens.

If I put only "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe", of course it starts perfectly (on the mail screen...).

Any ideas? Is it even possible? Does Objectdock accept this kind of command?

thanks
Flo

MS Outlook > Tools > Options > Other Tab > Under General click "Advanced Options" > Under Startup in this folder choose "Calendar"

When you open Outlook it will be in your default view in the Calendar. Shouldn't make a difference if you start it from OD or not (that I'm aware of) :)

Create a new shortcut somewhere (in your documents folder, for instance) and put the command you want as the location it points to. Now set your calendar to run that shortcut when you click it.
